Daily Meditation for Friday, February 04, 2011

Be, being and presence. Be the process of Godliness.

Individuality

Individuality

Individuality is not personality. Personality is a coat of dust showered upon us externally by society, by education, by our parents. Character is personality based and is a mask taken upon by individuals.

Individuality is the countless and various expressions of life and existence itself naturally. There is complete freedom in individuality. Utter self-realization upon who you are not. You keep denying what you are or what you think you are until there is nothing left. Then in that moment of helplessness, individuality flourish as you let go utterly and trust the flowering of the true self.

We practice individuality through loving oneself first through healing and making one whole and complete 1st. Through understanding what a big hindrance the mind can be if it doesn’t serve us – through meditating and leaving our minds aside we experience a state of nothingness, emptiness which is akin to deep sleep but only while wide awake awaredly, alertly with a straight spine and correct open posture as in sitting. We practice loving ourself in aloneness.

If we can love ourselves or are not healed or are not in harmony what is there to share with others. It would be like the blind leading the blind. The sick trying to cure the sick. The hopeless give false hopes and fantasies.

True love is individualism. Individualism when realized is not ashamed to act revolutionarily and intuitively, miraculously in the very present moment of the here and now. Through watchfulness, through witnessing even the witness itself we experience a bliss detachment from all and yet an all knowing affection for all are one.

As a realized individual we become the here and now. We are the present moment. We become presence with whatever that is happening at the present moment. We welcome it without desire or aversion.

It seems that meditation is practicing welcoming “death’. Not the gory death as we see in the movies but the passing of from form to formless from self to selfless. From personality to individuality. From masks to core beings as different expressions of nature, life and existence.

The individual can do whatever he or she wants because he/she is so in tuned with the here and now, in tuned with the very moment in full awareness.
